UFO Sighting in Ottawa
I had an interesting call yesterday from a woman who lives in the south part of Ottawa. She said that around 1:00 am on Sunday, February 5, 2012, her daughter was standing on their deck when she saw an odd object approaching from the distance. It looked simply like a red LED light at first, and moved at a steady pace towards their house, apparently not far above the trees. It was resolved at first into two red LED lights in tandem, but when it passed directly overhead, the object could clearly be distinguished to be circular in shape and "four townhouses wide." The underside of the object was revealed to look like "a circle with an H inside," dividing the object's lower surface into squares; the red lights were two sides of the H. The object did not have any visible wings or other features; simply a dark object hanging in the air. It seemed to hover briefly then moved off slowly to the northeast. Rather than being silent, the object emitted a loud, droning hum, very unlike helicopters that often flew over the area (as it is the National Capital region). The daughter woke up her mother, who did hear the sound but did not see the object, which by that time had moved off out of sight.
I saw a UFO today moving northward over Toronto at around 1:20 PM today Feb 9th... it was a white orb, moving steadily and faster than any plane I've ever seen. It took me a while to realize what I was looking at and was gone before I could activate my camera on my mobile.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this report. How long was it in sight? What made it different from a plane? Did it look as if it was very high in the sky, or lower over the city? What was the weather like at the time?
ReplyDeleteI just woke up and it is about 5am. I live in the south end of Ottawa. I went outside and seen what looked like a bright star. I was hovering very still for 5 min or so then it started moving, slower then so fast it was gone in a blink of an eye. I know it wasn't a plane because I live near the airport and am used to planes. This object though was very strange.

ReplyDeleteTonight April 6TH about an hour ago (11:PM) I started watching a brilliant light in the sky, I though it was a plane but it didn't seem to get closer or further, it looked like a brilliant star constantly blinking, and going down at a certain speed. Then it slowed down at it took about 45 minutes to be out of my sight.
DeleteNot sure what it was...
I saw this same bright light over the Ottawa River last night. It hovered in the sky in the same place for over an hour. It would dim and then get brighter again....My daughter and I watched it for quite a while...Definitely something...and not the first time I've seen it, just the first time for so long in the same place. There were no flashing lights...just a solid bright light...looks like a bright star...
ReplyDeleteSorry...it was on April 11th.(Friday) Between 10 and 11pm.
ReplyDeletei saw a falling STAR last week ,sitting in orleans. it just fell down,so quickly.it was amazing and signs of times.
ReplyDeleteOn Wednesday night in Orleans (Aug 22nd) was sitting in my hot tub and noticed a bright light almost like a fire ball glow and dimed down to nothing but in the same spot, didn't streak like a shooting star, then about 5 seconds later it did it again but in a slightly different spot and never came back.
